We are the home of SALT Conference, SALT Community and SALT University. We are known for collaborating with some of the most innovative thinkers and leaders within the church. We have worked with Erwin McManus, Matt Redmon, Ian Cron, The Belonging Co, Matt Maher and many others.

Opportunity.
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals that want to intern with SALT in an immersive experience centered helping the local church use creativity and technology better.
Our internship enables students to come alongside our core team to bring a fresh perspective while interfacing with some of the most creative individuals in our industry.
Internship Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree
- Able to commit at least 15 hours per week during the semester
- Be at least in sophomore class standing or above
- Must be 18 years or older.

SALT Events Intern
As the Event Intern for SALT, you will experience first-hand the “behind the scenes” of planning our fall conference as well as work the event (October 13-16, 2020). Your responsibilities will be:
- Learn the timelines and checklists for event coordination
- Assist creative team in planning and execution of multiple environments at Conference such as: green room, conference store, registration, food trucks, etc.
- Assist with travel logistics for all talent and staff
- Aid in special projects like aggregation of content from conferences such as interviews, videos, photos, etc.
- Daily tasks include, updating and maintaining conference planning documents, updating and maintaining the Conference events app, and provide excellent customer service for attendees
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Documents
- Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Must be available May – December, 2020 (if you can only work Summer please let us know, Fall only will not be considered)
SALT Marketing Intern
The SALT Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to work within the various divisions within SALT. Your responsibilities will be:
- Coordinating and executing marketing elements within various channels including social media, email and traditional marketing.
- Strategizing and brainstorming different marketing initiatives
- Pulling and managing data for insights and analysis
- Daily tasks include, monitoring all social channels and daily activity
Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of social media
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Documents
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Pixelmator or other web design tools is a plus, but not necessary
- Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager & Google Analytics is a plus, but not necessary
SALT Design Intern
The SALT Design Intern will have the opportunity to work within the various divisions within SALT. Your responsibilities will be:
- Designing and developing marketing materials from brand book (Ex. website graphics, social media posts, email blasts, etc)
- Assisting in executing the print design needs for SALT Conference (ex. Signage, backdrops, registration information, etc)
- Assisting in compiling information for the SALT Conference Booklet.
- Assisting in other design related elements as it pertains to SALT Conference & SALT community.
Skills/Abilities
- Experience using both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (work samples will be requested)
- Ability to design from a brand book and/or other elements of design to make new printable, and shareable elements.
- Excellent ability to take feedback and have a desire to grow in their design skills!
- Knowledge of Print standards. (Preferred, not required)
- Experience with Adobe inDesign. (Preferred, not required)
