It’s about time.
There’s a community of artists, musicians, technicians, pastors, designers, filmmakers, and creatives who have dedicated their lives to the renown of Jesus. It’s a community called SALT. We come from all over the world, gathering together, each in a different step of our journey. For some, it’s time to learn. For some, it’s time to leap. For some, it’s time to rest. For some, it’s time to run forward. And for all of us, it’s time to encourage God’s unique gifting in each of our lives. SALT 2022 is the creative conference for the Church. Step into your community. It’s about time.
The Creative Conference for the Church.
It’s about time.
SALT is more than a creative conference; it’s a community. It’s where we come together to encourage and equip one another to carry the beauty of Jesus to our cities and our nations.

What to expect…
Every one of us is living in a unique continuum; each traveling through our own story of splendor and sorrow, mundane and marvelous. As creatives – musicians, technicians, pastors, filmmakers, and designers – we aim to reflect the truth and beauty of God in each step and season of our lives.
And when we gather together at SALT Conference 2022, our continuums collide. SALT is the place where we maximize the intersection of our lives: skillfully equipping and faithfully encouraging one another to keep growing. Year after year, we’ve seen it to be true: the Church is strong when we lean on each other, learn from each other, connect and correct and care for each other.
SALT is more than a creative conference, it’s a community. It’s about time we came together.

“After nearly 6 years of running FOH for just about every service, I had become hardened to worship. So focused on what’s up next, who’s moving where…it just had become ‘a job.’ For the first time in years, I actually felt like I was ‘participating in worship’ instead of ‘making it happen for others.’ I’d forgotten that feeling and it was great to reconnect.“

- BEYOND THE LIVESTREAM: BREAKING INTO YOUTUBE (DIGITAL MINISTRY)
Speaker: Zach Snyder, Caleb Weidman, Nick Meo (BLK.BAR)
Since it was created in 2005, YouTube has become one of the most popular websites of all time. For years leading up to the climactic online shift of 2020, churches primarily used it at a hosting site for weekend services and sermons, but what if that’s only the beginning of the vast potential of your YouTube ministry? This breakout will teach you how to best leverage YouTube as a sustainable and growing platform for your ministry beyond your weekend livestream.
- HOW TO DESIGN YOUR VIDEO SYSTEM WITH THE FUTURE IN MIND (VIDEO)
Speaker: Tyler Hirth (Long Hollow)
Now is the time to talk about the future of your church’s video system. The last few years have greatly increased the need for all of our videos systems to take a jump to the next level. Not only are we worried about just what’s on the screens in the room; we are now feeding multiple sources and online streams. In this session we will talk about what to look for when designing your system. We’ll look at routers, audio embedding/de-embedding, switchers, etc., and how these things can create greater flexibility and help your church take things to the next level.
- CUTTING THROUGH THE NOISE (COMMUNICATIONS)

- DEVELOPING A COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT ON YOUR DESIGN TEAM (FILM & DESIGN)
Speaker: Tessa Voccola (Graphic Designer)

- SINGING IN A STRANGE LAND (WORSHIP)
Speaker: Kierre Lindsay (Celebration Church)
Inspired by Isaiah 54. In this this passage the land of Israel is described as a barren woman. Then God gives the instruction to sing in that land.
Singing is transcending. It can speak to where you are and speak to the future. Our words have power and melodies heal. Don’t let the wilderness steal your worship/praise. Understand there is a song for every season but sometimes we have to really search for the song of the season. And ultimately how obedience and faith in all forms, move the heart of God.
- BLAME THE SOUND GUY (AUDIO)
Speaker: Jeremiah Adkins (Eagle’s Nest Church)
Everybody always blames the sound guy. A mic cuts out in the middle of Pastors message. Blame the sound guy. Keyboard falls off the stand. Blame the sound guy. A singer points their mic at the monitor creating feedback. Blame the sound guy. Deacon Johnson comes in Sunday morning with a decibel meter and yells that the sanctuary is louder than a Boeing 737 airplane… ok that’s probably the sound guy. But you get the picture. When you’re a “sound guy,” you’re going to get blamed for a lot. This course, Blame The Sound Guy, is designed to give you practical skills that you can take with you to your church to prevent common mistakes that inevitably result in someone blaming the sound guy.
